Two Or More Music - About Us - Arnie Vilches

Arnie Vilches - Guitars / Percussion

Arnie Vilches - Two Or More Music - Guitars & PercussionEvery good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from
the Father of lights. James 1:17

God gave me a wonderful gift: the ability to play music, which began at
the age of 4. I used this gift for God’s glory in the beginning. My first gig
was playing guitar at our church for the Lord. I was about 10 years old. I
loved the Lord and would do anything for Him. I also loved music.

At age 13 began to play professionally with rock and salsa bands doing
weddings, bar-mitzvahs, dances and parties. I was making money,
becoming popular at school and church, all because of the gift. So I started
to use this gift for my own purposes. I drifted away from the Lord and
sought after fame and fortune. Left my home, my family, and my God and
moved 3,000 miles away to live my life the way I wanted to, still using the
gift God had given me. Well, just like the prodigal son, I partied and played
and spent all I had on the things of the world until there was nothing left.

“But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and
enticed. Then when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; when it is
full grown, brings forth death”. James 1:14-15

No more car, no girl friends, no job, no money, not even a gig, sleeping on
a friends couch. Death was knocking at my door. I was at my end, but
God never left me. In fact right then He sent me a beautiful girl who had
loving parents that brought me to a church that had a great pastor who
brought in a jewish man to preach to me about his Messiah, His Savior,
Jesus Christ. The one who died for my sins and offers forgiveness and
eternal life.

Jesus said to him, “I AM the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to
the Father except through me.” John 4:16. “If we confess our sins, He is
faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse them from ALL
unrighteousness.” John 1:9

I needed cleansing, I still do. I asked Jesus into my heart that day and
have been walking with Him ever since. The Gift? I now use it as a tool
to attract and reach people all over the world with the good news about
Jesus the Savior. The girl? I married her (and inherited her parents). The
Savior? He is far above any other god. I will serve Jesus for the rest of my
days.

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present
your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your
reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be
transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is
that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” Romans 12:1-2

Love the Lord your God with ALL your heart, mind, soul, body, and strength.
Love your neighbor as yourself.
